National Slam the Scam Day, designated by the Social Security's Office of the Inspector General, aims to heighten awareness about the persistent threat of government imposter scams proliferating across the United States.

This year, Slam the Scam Day falls on Thursday, March 7, 2024, coinciding with National Consumer Protection Week, scheduled from March 3 to March 9.
